Notice of Public Hearing for BPSD

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Budget Officer for Belfast-Patetown Sanitary District submitted a proposed Operating Budget in the total amount of $3,714,750.00 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026, to the Belfast-Patetown Sanitary District Board at its meeting on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The proposed Operating Budget includes recommended increases in water rates and tap fees.  A public hearing will be held on the proposed Operating Budget as required by NCGS §159-12(b) at the regular meeting of the Board on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 12:00 o'clock noon at the office of Wayne Water Districts, 3600 Commercial Drive, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Anyone interested in looking at the proposed Operating Budget prior to the hearing may do so at the Wayne Water Districts Office during regular office hours.
